Tsunami


Tsunami is a large wave on the ocean, usually caused by an undersea earthquake, a volcanic eruption, or coastal landslide  and often causes extreme destruction when it strikes land. It also called tidal waves. Tsunamis can have heights of up to 30 m (98 ft) and reach speeds of 950 km (589 mi) per hour. They are characterized by long wavelengths of up to 200 km (124 mi) and long periods, usually between 10 and 60 minutes.
Tsunami destroyed many buildings and damaged ecosystems in the region. The tsunami also caused damage to coastal areas as well as areas that were swept away by the tsunami. Initially the giant waves of the beach overflowing on the road and sweeping people, buildings, cars, trees, and houses crashing into each other which then caused damage in all respects. The tsunami destroyed buildings, resulting from the impact of high energy waves of the tsunami and the effects of erosion on the metal components of the building. Construction debris that falls will also damage other areas. As a result of damage to the building, there was rebuilding after the tsunami that requires no small cost, so resulting in an economic downturn that could affect all regions of the world.
After the tsunami, many diseases that arise. Especially in the tsunami disaster victims. Diseases that arise after the tsunami among other, measles, dengue fever, malaria, diarrhea, respiratory tract infections. Measles disease is one disease that occurs in children and is caused due to a virus. Dengue fever is a disease caused by the dengue virus, the mosquito vector Aedes aegypthi. Malaria can caused sufferers to grow high heat, so that the patient arises a sense of haet and cold. Diarrheal disease can cause sufferers to become upset stomach, vomiting, and dehydrate.

And then, death one of the bigest and worst effects of a tsunami. Many people could not save themselves from the tsunami. Hundred and thousand  of people are killed by tsunami. Since 1850, tsunami have been responsible for the loss of more than 430.000 lives. The power of the tsunami caused victims death suddenly. Most commonly by drowning, buildings collapsing, electrocution, and explosions from gas, damaged tanks and floating debris are another cause of death. The tsunami of December 2004 that struck South East Asia and East Africa killed 31.000 people in Srilanka only leaving 23.000 injured.

Gerabah telah ada sejak masa prasejarah tepatnya setelah manusia hidup menetap dan mulai bercocok tanam.             Di Weleri terdapat sebuah gang yang hampir semua warganya bermata pencaharian sebagai pembuat gerabah. Gang tersebut bernama Gang Gerabahan. Rata-rata tingkat ekonomi di Gang Gerabahan tergolong menengah ke bawah karena tidak ada mata pencaharian lain selain membuat gerabah sehingga daya saing penjualannya tinggi.

Berlatih fisik dan mental dengan bersilat

latihan silat BS Melati              Silat merupakan bela diri asli Indonesia. Bela diri pencak silat beda dengan bela diri yang lain, seperti Taekwondo, karate, Wushu, dll.   Karena dalam berlatih silat kita biasanya tidak hanya diajarkan latihan fisik saja. Namun juga diajarkan berbagai ilmu, pengetahuan, amalan dan perilaku yang baik untuk kehidupan sehari-hari. Jadi selain kita dapat menguasai berbagai jurus yang sudah kita dapatkan melalui latihan fisik, kita juga mendapatkan materi berupa ajaran moral, sikap, karakter yang baik dalam latihan silat untuk kehidupan sehari-hari.
